is there a good age to get rid of roos. Mine are 12 weeks and I was wondering if that was too young to go to a new flock. They arent fighting yet just chest bumping and a little chasing. I will be keeping one, the one who likes me.

It depends somewhat on the breed you have, however by 18 weeks with everyone in the same hot tub, things will get exciting!

Keep a close eye, keeping the hens best interest in mind, cause too many males could be a problem.
    for them.

Unless it's a breed that I need another rooster from they go to the poultry auction as soon as I can tell they're a roo.
