Age I can let my chicks out to 'play'?

I figure it's fine, but I want to double check just to make sure it's fine... But at what age can you let your chicks out to play and scratch around? I'd be watching them the whole time and they would probably be outside for about 20-30 minutes. It just seems nice to get them out of the brooder for a little bit.
 
That depends a lot on the temp/wind. If they're a few weeks old and it is warm, no chilly winds, it should be fine for a short amount of time.
 
totally agree with what LLcoyote said. How old are the chicks? how warm is it outside? and most importantly block the wind from them as much as possible, if there is a wind at all.

they'll love more space, sunshine and grass, that's for sure!
