A pullet is a female chicken under one year of age. Older than a year, and it is referred to as hen.
Is your question,,,,, when can I put my chicks into the coop??? Many factors are in consideration. Can the chicks handle the weather/temperatures??? No IDEA where you live ,,, so it may be warm , or cold where you are now.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and![]()
I live in San Rafeal , Marin county
The climate in San Rafeal is mild sometimes hot and the winter is cold. I do have a big backyard and the coop is big too and I will have them free rage. You still need to provide a little more information for us to give you a good answer.

What’s your situation? Do you have older birds and need to have your pullets accepted by your existing flock? What’s your climate like? How old are your pullets? What is your coop like?
