Age quail rooster separation

From what age should I separate my quail roosters? They are now 6 weeks and still ok together.

If they are still behaving themselves I wouldn't make it harder by splitting up the group. But if you want to have fertile eggs from one particular rooster you'll want to separate them soon.

They're going to start fighting soon. The moment I see the first bit of fighting I either separate or start sending them off to freezer camp.

They typically start fighting right at this age, often before.
