Age to feed game bird layena

I have some adult silkies and some that are a little over 5 months old. Do you think I could feed them all game bird layena which is 20%? If not, the only other feed I could use is game bird startena which is 30%. What could I mix with the startena to bring the protein down that younger chickens and chicks could eat?

I feed all of my chicks gamebird feed (I think its 26% protein). I started feeding it because I had gotten rid of some turkeys and had some left over crumble. Then I read somewhere on her that alot of breeders use gamebird feed to keep their showbirds in top condition. My chickens feathers have never looked better. It also seems to help them get through their molts faster. Good luck!
