Thinking ahead a few weeks to transitioning my new babies from the starter crumbles (Manna Pro Duck and Gosling Starter) to a 16 pct Maintainer pellet. What age they can safely eat the pellets?

Isn’t it 3-4 weeks they rec switching from starter to finisher? I usually just feed non gmo layer and starter mixed at 50/50 and my babies all stay on starter to they are laying age since in the Non gmo that’s all I can get.

Oh ok. I was thinking after 2 or 3 weeks I should cut their protein to like 16 or 18 so they don't get angel wing. This starter they're on is 22 pct which is high. So I should mix that with the Flock Maintainer? Dudley is my only one that gets the Maintainer , the rest of my flock gets the non gmo layer pellets.
