aggresive rooster

is there any way to train an aggresive rooster? My boy Fez likes to bruise ankles and I cant even barely feed anyone without being attacked, dare I go outside without shoes on. I try chasing him around the yard, spraying him with the water hose, I thought maybe if i was nice to him he would stop so ive been picking him up, doesnt work. he chases my nieces and my mom, they cant even go in the backyard because they are scared of him and he is more mean to them than he is to me. But he is my baby and I dont want to get rid of him. He used to be the sweetest roo until one day I found him running up on me and I was like what the hell so I kicked him and thats when he started nipping and chasing. It seems like maybe hes scared of my feet because when I bend down he backs off. What should I do??

An aggressive rooster is not worth the risk of injury....especially to children.

what do I do with him then? I dont know how to kill a chicken and I honestly dont think I could

Post an ad on Craigslist. Ask no questions about if he will be dinner or kept.

You need to let them know he has become aggressive in your flock.
