Aggressive 3 day old chick

barnyard mix , 3 days old, attacks me everytime i put my hand a cage, i never had a chick attack me before ,,, although very nice to other chicks, it hates people , will handling it more help it???

I would initiate some dominance training. He needs to learn not to peck the human. When he comes to peck you, peck him back with your finger. If that doesn't stop him, pick him up and use a finger on the other hand to push his head down below his chest. Keep repeating this, till he willingly holds his head down when you remove your finger. Continue training him till he no longer is aggressive towards you.

All I see is a chick that has learned your hands mean food and he will be first to get it and pecks your hand......He is a bit pushy......No need to be mean to him......
