Aggressive behavior

Hi! I have a pair of black Indian runner ducks (I know FOR SURE one is a female based on her quacking & colors) & a pair of Swedish Blues (unsure of their gender for sure). I bought the runners on April 19 & the Swedish on April 26 both from TSC, so theoretically they would be 1 week apart in age.

One of the Swedish Blues is trying to pull the tail feathers out of the female runner & attacking the feet of the other two. Is this aggression something that could keep happening or will it eventually stop. We’ve been wondering if it’s a drake due to the aggressive behavior, it’s ALWAYS in the lead when they’re strolling in the yard & it’s somewhat larger than the other even though it was the tiniest when we got it.

Could you send photos / a video of them? I can gender them.

I’d imagine the aggression would stop eventually, but it’s strange that it’s happening at all. Were they all raised together?
They were raised together from the time we had the Swedish for 2 weeks. The yellow arrow is the Swedish that is being aggressive, the pink arrow is the runner that we know is a female. I took video too of them out of the water but I can’t attach it.

I don’t want to get rid of it but if it keeps being aggressive or starts hurting the chickens too I will have to rehome it.

Are they penned or free-range?
They are a mixture of both. The ducks like to stay with the chickens in the predator fence that surrounds their enclosed runner & coop but are allowed access to roam the yard too. Unfortunately I don’t have a water source for them other than 2 kiddie pools & their drinking water bowls. We’ve also tried to keep the ducks in a separate house than the chickens but they flip out as do the chickens. That comes from the fact they’ve been together since they were little.

My chickens and ducks and goose are in the coop together at night All but my Muscovy they have a separate house. I only have kiddie pools. The only problem with having ducks and chickens together is if your have drakes and not many females then the drakes can go after the chickens to breed and that will be most likely a death sentence for the hen.
We never know why we will have one that likes to bully but hopefully this one of yours will stop. You could always try time out and see if that works. Sometimes messing with the dominance can stop bullying.
