1 rooster with only 2 hens is not good. A rooster should have at least 10 hens. They can be overmated and end up with injuries. Yes, your coop is way to small for them. They cant get away from each other. There can be a bit of drama at roosting time, and that is normal, but if they don't like each other it can be hell.
When chickens see a bloody, or red area on another chicken, they will usually peck at it and can actually kill. Honestly, if this was my situation, I would def get rid of the cockerel. I would rehome the 2 hens and start over. Starting with a bigger coop and either get some chicks or some pullets that already have been together in a flock.
Or you can get rid of the cockerel and do a search here on how to introduce the other 2 back to each other. In both scenarios, Id be getting rid of the male.
