Aggressive chick

These guys were born on the 5th. The fluffier one was born first and had no problem hatching. The second I had to assist because it pipped at the wrong end and was malpositioned. The fluffy one I think is a boy because of its aggression but it’s overly aggressive. I had the small one in with it for about a day. He was so aggressive towards her that she didn’t eat all that day. Now they’re separated and he calls for her but trying to put them together is a mess. He’s even aggressive towards my 8 week old brahmas. How can I curb this aggression or is that just who he is? I was told by the farm that he’s a leg bar.

I had something similar with my 2 ducklings. The bigger one hatched first and the second took almost 4 days to hatch, so was weaker and had some issues. When I put them together the bigger one was pulling and pecking at the smaller one pretty hard and knocking him over. I took him out and then reintroduced them after a bit and watched them. They did the same for a little bit but then the little one started following the bigger one and they started getting along. Now they're impossible to get apart! I'd say keep trying and just keep an eye on him so he doesn't injure her. They might just need to work it out. If he's still being so aggressive after a bit I'd definitely separate them permanently.

if theres only 2 it might be more pronounced, imo it takes 3 or more for them to do good socially but i doubt theres going to be damage at that size .. that said i had a slightly aggressive chick in the last batch, it would always jump on the pile when they were eating and would be first or try to be at everything .. the irony is he turned out now at 5 weeks looking like he's going to be a bantam haha .. he's not dominating anything now, the others just look down at him and give a little peck and make him wait lol ...

They are cute. I couldn’t keep ducks because of my koi ponds. I could just imagine the mess and the lack of fish shortly after getting said ducks.
I set up a look but don’t touch deal for them so hopefully it’ll help. The aggressive one tried poking his head through the fencing to get to her but couldn’t. So he gave up shortly after.
My 8 week old brahmas are in the same room as these two. Which the smaller one sees them and wants so bad to sit with them. I’m scared to let her out though because I think one of the brahmas is a boy and don’t want him to be rough with her. Although he mostly tries to steal her food.

I’ve only ever had two hatch twice before and they were silkies and brahmas. The two silkies I could stick in with silkies that were only a week older. And the brahmas got along so well together. So this guy being super aggressive is new to me.
I have a bantam that was aggressive too. But he’s also super protective. I stuck the silkies in with him and now they follow him everywhere. Whenever one of my olive eggers tries to start with the silkies he’s there to give her hell. It’s so cute. Bantams are like little balls of furry just waiting to be unleashed. But it’s cute because they’re small.
