Aggressive Drake

I’m asking this for a friend, they have 2 hens and 2 drakes, I believe the Drakes are Pekins. Hatched last year. I am told they have paired off but one of the Drake’s is aggressive toward the other female, chasing her and grabbing her but making no attempt to mate. They wanted to know if there is anything that can be done other than eating the aggressor. He wants to eat him and she wants to re home him. He gets along with the other drake though. I didn’t know what to tell them as I have NO experience with ducks.

I believe 2 drakes is too many. 1 drake may be too many too. It could over mate them causing damage to their heads from being repeatedly grabbed. I would remove one, and see from there.

That’s what I figured. Ideally they’d like to trade this drake for another hen but I don’t know if anyone would want totrade a hen for a drake... maybe if they want to eat him instead of a hen? IDK I’ll pass on the info.
