So my raised from chick Russian Orloff hen has become a bit aggressive at times. All of a sudden she comes at me, with feathers bowed out and tries to peck at my legs???? I am beyond confused as to why she does this. I will talk to her when she does this and then pick her up and get up in her eye level to tell her not to be like that. Not sure if she understands me or not, so I set her back down, and she doesn't do it again at that time; but if I return to the run, she comes at me again?????????????????? Please, some insight from someone would be helpful. What can I do to get her to quit???????
