Aggressive hen!

What can you do if you have a mean chicken? If I even get close to her she goes in to attack mode. Which is weird because we always held her as a chick. It wasn't tell we had her about 6 months she just got mean. Our other two will squat down and let us hold them and are so friendly. The andulasian pecks and always tries to stay face to face and pecks at any attempt to touch. Can you change this behavior? Thanks

I will guess she is the top of the pecking order. She is protecting her flock, doing what she is supposed to do.

I've also heard it could mean they are the bottom of the pecking order with the other hens so look at us as as to keep us below them? So can be aggressive?.... Either way guess we'll steer clear
