I know it's hard to tell with these, but does this silkie look like a rooster? About 7 months old and is a bit of a jerk, not to us but towards my new chickens 😬 I have never personally experienced an angry female silkie so I'm a bit confused. She drew blood on my orpington and is currently doing time in the chicken clink. I thought for sure it was a girl because of the nice round poof, but we all know that silkies are mysterious. Thoughts?

Need pictures of the comb. Some males will have hen heads, it's actually looked for a lot near where I am

This bird looks female to me. I have one like this as well and she is quite bossy and chases the other ones around quite a bit. So just because she’s a silkie doesn’t mean she’s sweet!😊

Thanks everyone! She pecked my poor orpington bloody. I threw her in the clink for a few days and nights and she seems to have seen the light. She finished her sentence and is now out on probation. I don't like her because shes a bit of a freak, but my toddler adores her so I'm trying to straighten her out. She's just awful though šŸ˜†
