1. We just started with chickens this year. Started with 6 baby chicks ( 5 Black Star and 1 leghorn). Added 2 easter eggers this month. It has been fun watching them grow and play.
2. We are looking in to homesteading and adding other livestock but may need to move to a more rural area so I can get a horse. I am an IT director but looking to retire in 11/2 years. We found BYC by Google searches for information on how to build a Coop, what to feed the chickens, and how to tell if you might have a rooster
