agressive attacking

We have 4 Rhode Island Reds that are about 18 months old. One of the birds ( the smallest ) is going through a strong molt. She lost alot of feathers and seemed to be getting pecked at by one or more of the other hens. We took her out of the flock and put her in our garage for about a week in a small cage and she seemed to be doing well with alot of her feathers growing back in. When we put her back in the henhouse, one of the other birds came in and seemed to "attack" her. We immmediatly took her back out, but are afraid to put her back in. What should we do?
