Are female geese as agressive as the males? When not having eggs/nest...

And what if a female goose is kept without other geese?

My American Buff females are not aggressive at all to people, other birds yeah, they are aggressive to and will pluck out feathers and bite them if they feel like it.

Thanks, and are female goose agressive to humans?
I think what's perceived as "aggressiveness" in geese - particularly as it relates to people - is a misunderstanding of their behavior. Geese, especially during breeding season, can be rowdy and ganders may display and/or tussle with each other in dominance behavior. Females (geese) can be very protective of their nests and eggs.

I've raised a couple of different breeds of geese over the years and have yet to encounter a human-aggressive goose or gander.

It depends on their personalities. Some girls can be spicy, others not at all. Sometimes it’s a last resort thing when a human doesn’t interpret their warnings to get away from a nest/territory.
Two of my girls will scold me with nips if they’re annoyed with me “as they would be with another goose” for whatever reason I triggered their ire.

For the most part females generally are non confrontational besides trying to egg their gander into a fight, but there are some warrior girls among geese.
