Goose Breaking Duck Eggs

The gander is deliberately destroying the ducks' nests. It's nothing to do with a nutrional deficiency. Some geese have this tendency - they can attack goose nests too. Either they feel there is overcrowding, they have a vendetta against one of the ducks or they are just speciesist. If you can goose-proof the nesting area this is the best solution as long as they limit themselves to attacking eggs and not also ducks. But after the ducklings hatch you may have a whole new problem.

Chickens are an entirely different matter. Geese consider chickens to be uncouth uncultured barbarians and try to teach them to behave. Failure to comply may occasionally carry the death penalty. The only solution in such a situation is separate dwellings, or to get rid of the annoying/cheeky chickens and/or aggressive geese. (The beaten hen safehouses charity protest that you should not punish the victim).
