Sorry for a bunch of posts having to do with puddles nose, but this is how I fixed it! gofasterstripe said she got her ducklings to enjoy swimming with peas, but I felt kinda bad, because I already traumatized them enough with one swim for the day, but I was still worried about Puddles nose. I got a shallow-ish bowl, and put a thin layer of mash pea on the bottom. I put in some water, and heated it up for 10 seconds (To thaw the peas... Water wasn't hot though). I took it out to the ducklings, and they seemed kinda scared by it, so I left. About an hour later I came back, and they were swimming in the peas, and dunking their heads in. The water was starting to get cold, so I took the peas out, and dried off the ducklings, and they decided to take a few naps on my lap. I looked to see if puddles beak was okay, and I saw it was unclogged!!!
I have been following your posts, as I have three ducklings coming this week from Metzer Farms, and I just want to make sure I know has much as possible about ducklings. Glad you're sharing information.

Thanks for following the posts, and checking up! I got my ducklings from Metzer's, and they are such a joy! I'm sure you will enjoy your babies. If you need any help with them (I don't know if these are your first ducks, but these are my first!) you can PM me! Oh, and when you get them POST PICS!!!
I have never had ducks before, this is a first. I will definitely PM you if I have any problems. They were available for tomorrow's hatching date, which is a holiday. I thought they had to be shipped the day they hatch? I don't know. Anyway, I am hoping they will be here by Wednesday. Look for pics in the nest few days. I am so excited!!!
Oh, they will ship out tomorrow. mine were born on Valentines day, and they still shipped out (Even though they emailed me saying they wouldn't). I'm in CA so they came next day, but if you are out of state you should be getting them on Wednesday!
Glad you got his nose all cleared. I use Peas for everything. Peas, peas & more peas and I tell them peas every time I give them some. It has been great. Now when I want my ducks to come to me, all I have to do is shout PEAS and they all come to me. Used peas for everything and they have turned out to be a great training aid for me.
