Ahh!, There hatching early!!!

I see two hatching. There not suppose to hatch for another 3 days!

This is my first hatch.
Is hatching early normal??
When do they need assistance if any?

There is another one that cracked but hasn't moved for a few hours.
Should I wait or should I crack farther to make a air hole? I'm worried I haven't seen much from him.

Rule of thumb. Dont touch for at least 24 hours after pip. It takes that long, sometimes less sometimes more for blood vessels to stop moving blood and for chick to get strong enough to zip and hatch.

Your chick looks fine as far as i can tell. He will be really sleepy and then will be fine.

Ok, so this egg has Pipped and then has done nothing for 18 hours..

Do you think he is ok or should I help?
I haven't seen him even try for the same hole in 18 hours...

I have never hatched turkeys. If I cant see them breathing or the membrane moving or hear cheeping I always tap on the bator or pick them up and listen. Its your call.

Ok, I saw no improvement so I helped. I was cautious on the membrane and didn't see blood veins.
He poked out his head and then put him back and he came out good and looked good.

Do you think he was positioned bad? Was I right to help?
