ahhh My rooster Is not doing his job! >:(

Ok sorry if I diddent put my thread in the right spot.... anyways. I reconized my male ducks are startingto breed my female ducks. But my rooster is older then my male ducks. So why isnt my rooster breeding my female chickens(hens) ???? He is 5 months old and isnt trying to crow of anything! is that normal.

one of my roosters started trying to mate and crowing about 3 weeks ago and he is now 4 months old........the other 3 have followed suit........but i do have a silkie rooster who does crow but never seen him trying to mate and he is a couple weeks older than the other roo's

i think he's probably okay. We have 2 roosters that just started crowing and they are like 5 months old (heavy breeds) but also have a white leg-horn roo that has been crowing sence he was like 3 months old.....what is normal for a chicken anyway?
