Ahhh, quiet mornings

Just kidding, we have hens and roosters . This morning my better half was going down stairs and grumbling, I asked him how his quiet morning was going? As Kitty is singing her egg song and Petey is serenading her. Haha! He said how did you know?

The rooster crowing, egg songs.....its what keeping chickens is all about! ❤

I got up early, grabbed a cup of cold brew coffee, sat out at the picnic table under a big sycamore and watched the chickens and turkeys hunt bugs in the tall grass at the edge of the pasture. Great way to start the day before church.

The best way! It was a beautiful day here yesterday, I spread the blanket out on the grass, it was great when the chickens came over

It could be alot worse with the noise off traffic, jets flying or dirt bikes and Harleys. We're fortunate in the fact we have very little of that type of noise.

Yes, definitely, I love the farm sounds here, my neighbors have cows,.and every other neighbor has roosters with their flock, you can hear them calling back and forth.
