AI with peafowl?

Has anyone ever done artificial insemination with peafowl, if so what do I do?

i have a Peach Silver Pied Peacock(rare) i was thinking of trying. He is just to big of a wimp, afraid of the peahens

Well the thing is I have a peahen, and a bird place were I volunteer has a male I was thinking about asking them if I could catch him and then put her in a cage with him, but he is on free range and I don't know what he might have on him. I'm only worried because she lives with some of my pheasants and I don't need bird lice in my collection. And she is a year old will she lay this year??

odds she will not..... some do but most need to be 2 yr old
