It helps that they jave a fully enclosed run. When she doesn't make it into the coop I akways know exactly where she'll be...perched on or in the broody jail right up against the coop wall near the door.

Day 5

For the first time since Halloween it was not completely dark when I got off work at 5! The dogs and I celebrated by going for a walk.

Day 6 was a work sunup to sundown kinda day, so I'm using a picture I took yesterday

Limu crowding the door like a matron keeping Artemis from being able to get in. Artemis had a shut out buddy last night, my RIR hen Paprika, who was allowed entry without harassment.

Day 7

Took the dogs for a hike at a lake about 45 minutes from my house (change it up a bit from the lake right down the road). I saw a bald eagle too, but was too busy juggling leashes and poop bags to get my camera up in time to get a picture.
