I picked up 12 duck eggs today to start incubating and they are a barnyard mix. 11 of them have perfect attached air cells at the fat end but one of them has an attached air cell at the pointy end. It’s not detached and doesn’t move around when I turn the egg. It’s just on the wrong end. How do I incubate it? Pointy end up on that one? Lost cause? Any suggestions?

I have a guinea egg right now on day 21 with the air cell on the opposite end (pointy end). It is still alive as of now. It has been incubated on its side. It is moving around just as much if not more than the others. The only thing I’m worried about is hatching. I would say it is not a completely lost cause. There’s no harm in setting it. Good luck with your incubation and hope you get some ducklings! :D
