Air cell dipped down 1 1/2 day too early. Lockdown? What about those with detached air cell?

Hello,

I'm halfway through day 24 (so it's 23 1/2 days have passed) of duck egg incubation.
Usually duck eggs are supposed to enter lockdown after 25 days, i.e., on day 26.
But upon candling, I found that all 3 eggs with non-detached air cell have had their air cells dipped down already.

I currently have 3 living eggs with normal air cell, and 5 living eggs that came with air cell detached from shipping. I read somewhere that when the air cell has dipped down, then you should enter lockdown, and they have, so should I?

In addition, in one egg with detached air cell I even see a shadow in the air cell, which I read that it means the embryo is already turning for hatching. Should I lock these down too? And how should I lock them down, on the sides or in egg carton? They don't seem to have saddle air cells as of yet, but I'll surely check again tomorrow.

I've looked at your post before and now I see you are not getting any replies. It has been a long time since I used an incubator, but I will try.

I know it will not hurt to lock down a bit early, so yes, do so. I preferred to have eggs on their side for hatching.
