Sometimes I leave the ones with small aircells more upright for hatching so that liquid from the egg won't fill the aircell. Also aircells grow dramatically in the last 2 or 3 days. I had some tiny ones that got way larger at the very end. And for others they pipped way higher if their aircell was smaller. not all my chicks made it but many did.

Panicking again! Had 2 massive temperature spikes, one overnight of 106° and one this afternoon of 110°!!!! Starting to think these little ones might not make it.

For how long?? If it was caught right away, there's still hope, If they sat at those temps for a long duration of time, hope is a lot dimmer.

106° for at least 8 hrs. A couple of hrs at 110°. Feel so bad. Why does it happened when you're not there?! I check them constantly during the day, go to bed or go shopping and that's when it chooses to spike! GRRRR!!!!

Ouch. That's pretty long at those temps. I hope some of them survived.

I put the troublesome twosome into lockdown and had a VERY quick candle. Naughty of me I know! Anyways, there was movement in all of them! Soooo relieved! Now to keep everything crossed for the next few days!
