Can you tell me the outcome of this story? Did air cells increase? Are they starting to hatch now?
Yes! Today is day 21. Three hatched on day 19. They were all set the same day. One side on the incubator has higher humitiy then the other, for some reason. The dryer ones hatched 1st. I opened one side this morning, as they had been dry for over 24 hours. They are in the brooder eating and drinking right away. One hatched last last and one was pipped when I opened it to get the dry ones out. I got them out one at a time only opening the side the pipped egg was not on and closing it again after removing a chick. Hopefully more hatch today.

I will try..they are at my nieghbors house, she has terrible arthritis and doesn't like to be disturbed much. She is supposed to give me them soon after they are all done hatching. Then, I may give some to my adult niece.

Hooray!! I’m so happy for you. Today is day 21 for me, and no pips yet so of course I’m getting anxious. But they were all so well developed and the air cells had really progressed on most of them by lockdown.View attachment 2575824Got them!..she said, she didn't want to clean the box..but they poop so much!
