Hi Guys,

Anyone else in the area concerned for their flock in the current conditions ? Is there anything we can do short of bringing them in the house.....which is really not an option we can explore.

Its getting bad out there and even I am struggling a bit when I go out to breathe properly.

We have heavy wildfires here in Central Oregon every year. Aside from bringing them into a heavily filtered room, most efforts will be frugal.

One thing to note is that the smoke is going to rise off the ground as the air cools, as is with the night. I know it isn't ideal, but removing roosts and forcing ground sleeping may give them some reprieve.
