i don't have any big wild game around where i live

i wish there was wild hogs all around but no theres only some rabbits, squirrels, doves, and quail when i go hunting in Bakersfield, California

I'm probably going to regret saying this but... I'm tired of hearing all these comments like, "Unless it's a clean kill it's animal abuse." First, not every shot, no matter what weapon is used is a guaranteed clean kill. I don't care how good a shot you are. Everyone misses occasionally. Second, how is taking the life force of any living thing not abuse? It's a matter of necessity and priorities. I'm reasonably convinced that the animals we call predators do not consider themselves as such. They're just doing what they have to do to survive. I'm just doing what I must to protect my flock.
