Hi, basically as the title says I have an egg in the incubator and it's only been in for 3 days but when you candle it it looks like the air sac is on the side of the egg rather than at the end, will the duckling still develop?

Thanks :)

You will need to make sure that the air cell is positioned at the top when it comes time for lockdown. Watch it closely, it may need help hatching.

You're more than welcome. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Watch your humidity and don't let it get too out of control. The greatest concern is the chick drowning when he pips.

Yeah defo, I had one pip at the opposite end to the air sac last year so had to help him out, I'll keep an eye on it and keep you updated :)
