Air sac on side of egg

Hi, basically as the title says I have an egg in the incubator and it's only been in for 3 days but when you candle it it looks like the air sac is on the side of the egg rather than at the end, will the duckling still develop?

Is the air cell loose in the egg or attached to the side?

Seems to be attatched to the side

You will need to make sure that the air cell is positioned at the top when it comes time for lockdown. Watch it closely, it may need help hatching.

Yeah defo, I had one pip at the opposite end to the air sac last year so had to help him out, I'll keep an eye on it and keep you updated
