Incubating Eggs!

So I got home and I checked them, I think one embryo has died because I can still see into it and it hasn’t grown and there’s no movement but I think I’ll just wait to see how the others do before removing it. I checked the other three very quickly and it looked like one was trying to poke through the membrane maybe to get into the air sac but I couldn’t really tell if that’s what was going on. I’ve heard of people creating a safety hole but I’m nervous to do that. Do you have any suggestions?
Safety holes are if you can see the ducks bill through the membrane and into the air sack all your doing is giving them air before the run out. I always followed the rule never help the ducklings while in the shell. After incubating over a hundred birds 46 in one year I now do not think that is correct I watched to many birds die right at the end and found if I helped i could get a live duckling. I can't even remember how many I helped out and only feel that I hurt one

So I’m looking for anyone’s feedback on this, my eggs are on day 28 and day 27 because I put two of them in a day later than the others. I am working with my own ducks eggs this time and I am worried that my ducklings that I am trying to hatch are having trouble getting through the membrane so they can internally PIP. I’m also worried that they could possibly be mouth position but I’m not quite sure how to tell if they are or not I don’t see any bruises on the other side of the egg if they were a male positioned as if like they’ve tried to get out that side. I do see movement when I handle them near the air sack, but none of them have completely broken through it yet and I can’t hear any of them chirping inside. If any of you know how to help that would be great if you need a video or pictures of like them trying to break out of the membrane happy to send that to you. I just would appreciate the help

Im so sorry, I haven’t ever hatched ducks so I am not quite sure how to help them. I have hatched chicks and have helped when needed. But normally for me with chickens, they have to pip through the internal membrane on their own or they likely don’t survive. I have often helped chicks that internally pipped but didn’t pip externally, or that did pip externally but weren’t able to zip.

The reason that helping before they internally pip doesn’t work very well is that when they have internally pipped, that’s when they usually start absorbing their yolk. So helping then before they get through that membrane doesn’t really work because they haven’t absorbed the yolk very well.

What is your humidity? If they are trying to pip at the wrong end you will usually see a small bruise, or an external pip. You can also listen carefully for clicking, which means the duckling is breathing in the air cell

I’ve been checking for bruising on the other end and haven’t seen anything so far. I actually don’t know what the humidity is on my incubator because it doesn’t show anything on it for it and I don’t have a machine or something to measure it of my own. I am going to post what the egg looks like and see what you guys think.

It is a bit grainy picture but I am not quite sure what is going on inside the egg whether the duck is just struggling to get troughs or if that is a different body part and not the bill.

It looks like it is either internally pipped or very close. Do you see it moving around a lot?

Humidity should be around 70%. I know it’s a bit late for this hatch, but you can buy hygrometers to measure humidity pretty cheaply and easily. I got the govee brand

I don’t think it has internally pipped yet because I haven’t heard any cheeping or anything, but it has been moving around a lot lately. I have cracked open my ducks eggs before a while back ago when they weren’t fertile because I would scramble them up and feed them to my dog sometimes, I feel like the membrane was really hard to get through sometimes while cracking the eggs so I was worried that it’s happening again and that the baby ducks inside we’re having a hard time getting through the membrane.
