Airlite cardboard bedding

There are many different things you can use as bedding. It is recycled cardboard used in horse stalls. Claim is it is dust free. I have never used it myself. I don't see it as bad for poultry bedding. What is the price compared to other things, such as hay? Hay is what I use. Alfalfa, or Timothy.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:

I've always used shavings. I'm worried that the pieces are too large - fine for horses but maybe not so much for chickens. But yes, I have it so may as well use it. Way too expensive to use in the horse stalls but could be okay for coop. It has to be fluffed so that might pre-empt the packing it might would do. It's $12.99/bag but it's a 30-lb bag and supposed to last a long time. Shavings are $6/bag. I'd like to cut down on dust, thus the Airlite. I'll report back.

Could you post some pics of it with something for scale(a quarter coin or dollar bill_?
I wondered how big the pieces were.

Packing could happen if it got soaking wet.
