I know this is a year old thread but I'm in North Alabama. About 25mi south of Huntsville. Having a hard time finding anyone who raises anything of quality that isn't bantam too.

LF Cochins.

Ooh. I love those. Their are two men from Georgia I think , that sell blue and splash lf Cochins in the spring and summer at Collinsville trade day. They usually have parrots, parakeets and chicks.I would like to come across them again also.I got a nice trio from them but lost both hens to an opossum .

See, I don't know where all the go to places are here, yet. This is good knowledge. I'd love some blues, buffs and laced ones. Hubby just fell in love with cochins.

I love them too I think they look like fat clowns in clown pants LOL. And they are so friendly. Have you been to Collinsville? On a Saturday trade day?

Never. I didn't even know it existed. I looked it up and Collinsville is about an hour away. Definitely doable. There is a trade day near here, but we stay away like it's the plague. Too much disease.

They have one hillside set apart for people selling animals,feed, feeders,cages. Lots of animals of every kind.
