Alabama Ft. Benning area 4 hens

Chicken math has caught up with me and I need to make room for new girls. I have a Barred Rock, Salmon Faverolle, and 2 EEs for sale.$30(or best offer) for all 4. They are 11months old and have been laying great for me. They are healthy and pampered pets and in need of a great home. Sorry about their sad looking feathers. My rooster was just too agressive and has been replaced so they should start looking better soon.

Where is Ft. Benning in relation to Chattanooga, TN?

It's about 3.5 hours south using I75 to Atlanta then I85 and I185.

I may be interested. We're in Montevallo, but could meet halfway in Alexander city.

We had to send our rooster to freezer camp.. and my 5 year-old has been requesting a 'magic chicken' ever since (blue egg laying chicken). Do you have pictures of their eggs?

I don't have any right now but I can get some uploaded in the next day or so. The EE's lay a pretty pale blue green egg. I have no problem meeting in Alexander city.

Hmm I live near you, I'm really only interested in the EEs but as I'm waiting for my girls to grow up and lay this might get us through until then. But I gotta figure out a place to keep these guys from my babies. Give me a day and I might just take them off your hand.

Keep me posted. As soon as I get some free time I need to post a few newer pics. One of my EEs is camera shy and I finally got a few pics yesterday. How old are the babies? At about 8 weeks mine have been with the big girls with no problems. The EEs I'm selling will eat treats out of my hand right along with the little ones.
