Does anyone know anything about the Clanton show that's supposed to be in Oct." Is there a current thread for it for this year yet? I'm hoping to meet a breeder there for some old fashioned Heritage Rhode Island Reds, and maybe get rid of a few Nankin Roosters, lol

I ordered and picked up chicks from Rock Mills Hatchery today and I must say, I was pretty impressed with the place. It's a super small facility with only three standard breeds on hand right now, but all (Rose Comb Dominiques, Yellow Buff Orpingtons and Rhode Island Reds) are certified heritage stock and state licensed. He has a couple of bantam flocks too, but they aren't my thing so I didn't really check them out. I think I'll order from him again. He hatches turkeys, guineas, and pheasants too.

As far as I know, there isn't anything on the web. It's in Alabama near the Georgia line at Roanoke.

Absolutely nothing on line about this guy other than the listing for poultry houses on manta I think. He is on Hwy 22 in Roanoke, Alabama near the Georgia state line.
