Poultry swap day Feb 21st (Vincent 35178)
We will be getting together Saturday Feb 21 at Lilliput Ranch 651 McBrayer drive , Vincent Al 35178 . starting at about 9 am . Anyone interested can bring your poultry , eggs or other small farm animals or even farm related stuff to trade with others . I'm sure there will be some for sale if you just want to buy . I am not in charge of this but it is a GREAT IDEAL!!

WILD GAME COOK-OFF will be held Saturday Feb 21 from 1 pm til 3 pm at Pleasant Mount Baptist Church, Pine Mountian. Food sampling Booths will be Open, and Bluegrass band will entertain from 2pm til 3 pm. Game Prepareswill include venison, fish, pheasant, duck and emu. beef and Chicken chilli will be served for not-so-wild food fans. Anyone interested in cooking a favorite wild gamedish may volunteer by calling (PM me and I will get them numbers to ya) Proceeds from Donations accepted during the event will go to BLOUNT COUNTY COURT-APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES ( CASA) an organization that represents the interests of abused and foster children in county court cases.


I am Really not Sure myself How to get to the Church I will have directions, before the date thou!!

My brother in Montgomery says someone released a rooster in his neighborhood (in the city) as a joke and it wakes him up every morning very early. He's considering shooting it with his pellet gun. Is it possible someone on this forum would want it and could catch it? I would, but I don't live on my rural property yet and there's no shelter or coop there. Mine are coming from Privett Hatchery which is located in NM. I couldn't find any place that was LOCAL local, but my friend, whom I'm spiltting my order with, recomended Privett.
