On a lighter note my hubby has a big problem with feeding chicken to the chickens! He said they will know they are eating their kin folk. I give all our scraps to the chickens. I don't have a problem giving them cooked chicken. Am I wrong, or is he just sensitive?

LOL! It does seem wrong, but then again, so does feeding them eggs! You should see what they did to the Thanksgiving turkey carcass last year. It was almost disturbing. Tell DH that they are mini dinosaurs, give them their meat or they will go after him!

I don't feed my chicken chicken either. There is just something disturbing about it.

I added 3 new ones to the flock today. Rooster looks like a big Delaware. White feet, white beak. I added a picture. The other two I am not sure. I can't get a good picture. They are black, black legs. Gold on their chest/neck. They have the biggest eyes I have ever seen in chickens.
