I drove to Henagar, Alabama to pick up my new LGD. I'm trying to think of a macho name for him, but so far, i just call him Biscuit.

Is there a disadvantage to having my coop and run under trees? It's very well shaded, still gets some light tho.

I think the shade is good. Are you worry about possible limbs falling on the coop?

I think in Alabama...shade is required. Deciduous trees are great since they drop their leaves in the winter to allow sunlight. Win/win

I've got my coop under a big tree. We have plenty of limbs come down, not an issue though
