Convinced my wife to keep 10 and order 15.  Here's what we ordered from Meyer Hatchery:

With 10 chickens we'll definitely be giving away eggs.  Anyone know of a shelter or food pantry in HSV that takes eggs?  I'm sure our friends will take some, but I like the thought of sharing with those who are in need.

10 is a good number that's what I have, usually get between 7-9 eggs a day sometimes less but not often. You'll have no problem getting rid of the eggs, I have a waiting list now.

I used to watch in the early years here.. I've been in the US 10 years now and I've not been too interested, I read the headlines on how the Dutch team is doing and that's about it. Ofcourse FIFA was pretty awesome, they were doing well.

I'm not too big on sports. I don't watch any football which makes me somewhat alien in Bama

One of my girls has completed her molt. So now she looks totally different. Is this normal? I mean, I'm not worried about her,or anything like that. It is just such a huge difference. I have never seen a grown chicken change so much. (Mind you, I have all of 1year experience with more than 2 birds ) the other grown ups didn't change as much. I wish I could find her in an old pic so you can see the difference. I will look through the laptop tomorrow.

To keep from being alien , I prefer to just be contrary, HEHEHE, if I'm in a group of Auburn fans I'm automatically a Bama fan , and vise-versa.

If you got your back round check from WalMart that is your issue they have had too many cases of people getting denied. They have to wait a certain amount of days to hear approved or denied and then they take it from there if some one wasn't doing there job they could of put denied instead of approved based on how long it took. You can also find out if your record has been cleared since it wasn't a felony it should of been cleared

What breed is she? Most of my hens I have this time around went through huge change after their first mold but they are breed that I knew would change.

That's fairly normal, some do - some, not so much. From now on, though, she will only change in that she will be sporting new, healthy, softer, and better looking feathers. There will not be as such a drastic change from now on.

This is a common misconception. If you are arrested prior to your 18th birthday, your record is not automatically expunged. You must request (from a judge) that your record be cleared, and you will have to pay court costs. The vast majority of judges will grant that request, as long as the crimes are not too bad. They will even consider taking off a felony if it's not "too bad."

My chicks are all game mutts, less the ones I bought for the crazy broody.
And no I didn't go to Walmart for my rifle. I also haven't heard anything about the appeal yet, but it's only been a week. I mailed it last Saturday.
