Anyone in need of a nice cockerel? These are part of Wisher's hatch she did for me in December. BCM x Ameraucana if I recall correctly (wisher can give you more details), so possible blue egg or olive egg genes.

They're purdy!

No one is crowing yet, but it's time to try and start sending them off to college.












Wisher has dibs, if she wants one. I just rather rehome than cook if possible. They're kinda scrawny anyway

Well, believe it or not, the boys are ALL going to a new home. Justin is taking them now. Getting $40 for all 5. I have NO idea what they're going to do with 5 cockerels... $40 seems too much for crock pot birds...

I'm going to miss those boys. They were so sweet!
 
80% complete on our pergola extended run for the girls. They got to "free" (read mud) range for the first time today too. An hour of chicken TV that reinforced our thought that chickens were a good idea. Too cool. I need to quit my job and spend my time here...
