Jknox, I am meeting Orps in the Perkins Outdoors parking lot by Mcfarland park sometime on Sunday so if you want to meet up come on down and we will have a little BYC Meet n Greet and I can give you some fertle eggs also. I just sent Lisa a PM to see what time works for her then we can let you know what time to meet up.

What kind of eggs are you wanting? Right now the only pure breed eggs I have are Silkies then I have assorted mixed eggs from my large fowl and a couple projects I'm working on that are Dominicker/Silkie and Phoenix/Silkie mixes.

Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/usr/maggyplanthome ships from Florida. I asked them to make a custom order for me. I got 1 female Ananasia and 1 female ken's red and a male polinator. Very well packaged and they're thriving.

I know you can buy them at Petals of the Past in Jemison too.


I'm just going to stick 2-3 chicks under my broody. I had donated some muscovy eggs to her, only to find out there were rotten (and all the other ones the muscovy were sitting on)

Surgery go well? I hope so

I thought about that but both TSC and Ace Hardware do not have chicks anymore.

Cool pics. You have a lot of different type of chickens. What generation is your project birds? Do they breed true?
And I like the pics of your ducks too. Are the khaki noisy ducks? Also like the pic of your snakes.

Yeah, found out the hard way. TSC had 3 chicks left last time I went.. should've gotten them. Today? Nada.

Asked for straw, the guy tries to sell me hay that you need to rehydrate

Guy... that's not straw. I want it for my ducks to nest in... I do not need $15 hydration hay lol

NOOOOOO!!!! Sunday is mothers day and of course I have plans. :-( LOL
I don't think I will be able to meet that day because we have plans with my mother in law for most of the day :-(
