ALABAMA!!

First chick ever hatched successfully and another has pipped... I don't believe I will be able to sleep tonight.

I'm not sure. I'll look into it, though. Maybe someone else can chime in.
The rest of the guidelines are pretty clear, but that particular one is not. Almost like they are.saying not to add to a current flock? Sometimes a glossary is needed when you read official documents.

Hi! I'm not sure if this will be helpful to anyone, but I just called the State Vererinarian's office to ask about some roosters I am re-homing, and they said as long as it is a private transaction between individuals you are allowed to move chickens - just no large gatherings such as swaps or shows. I'm sorry if I'm just repeating info someone else has already given, I'm really tired and my thinking is fuzzy. :-(

Glad to hear it. I've got a dozen or so chicks to rehome.

Just wondering - would you happen to have any bannies? Especially Seremas or Sebrights? The lady who got one of my roosters was very interested in my Sebrights, but I want to keep them. She'd be willing to take chicks or grown chickens.
