Hi, We rode to Oneonta this afternoon and ate at Oh So Good BBQ,(great place to eat) I ask my DH if he wanted to ride on up to Susan Moore and check it out before next Saturday. He agreed, we found it behind the Community Center, on the left if you are going north on 75 from say, Birmingham. That is some pretty country up there. We were on our Goldwing Trike. I am bringing OEG Bantam eggs. Silver Ginger and Silver Duckwing. I hope the weather is nice so we can make it. Sandy

Hey Tamsflock,
If I knew you needed some SLW hens I could have given you both of mine when you picked up the ducks and eggs. I have 2 that are about a year old and I am giving them to my neighbor to add to her mixed flock because I am getting rid of some of my other breeds so I can concentrate on my BBS Orps, Red Orps, GL Orps and the RIR's. Almost forgot about the Phoenix too.

Anyone else in North Al get hit by that bad wind storm last night. There are trees down everywhere. Our power was out for 8 hrs and they say Scottsboro won't have power for a couple days on the radio. My incubator was full too- total loss

My power was out for 12 hours before I threw blankets on my incubator. I had a 50% hatch still they were 3 days late but I wouldn't give up on the eggs. Ohh my 6 call duck eggs were in there:(
