Hi, just wanted to come back and say I have chickens now. : ) Attended the Clanton show and came home with 6, a pair of Lakenvelders, pair of Cochin Frizzles and a pair of small pullets of unknown heritage. Then last week an order of 14 Silkies arrived from Ideal, along with 10 Barred Rocks as live packing peanuts.

They are all so sweet. The bigger ones want me to hurry up and build them a run so they can get out of the chicken house, which is a step above being in cages in my house till their's was built. This morning they were all peeking out the door to see what the rest of the world looks like. The 24 babies will be very surprised when they discover there's more than white (bathtub) walls. I saw one flap his/her little wings and get lift off this morning!

I told the Hubs I want an incubator for Christmas!
