Wow SED and SlowMoneyFarmer ??? Nice to meet you. Never expected to meet someone on here who lived so close to home.
My sister lives on Slicklizzard Road and she raises chickens too. She sells eggs and chickens too. She
knows more than I do though. I'm learning. If you ever get bored - you can stop by for a visit. I'm sure I'll be out doing something==feeding chickens, feeding the bull, feeding the guineas= mowing this huge lawn = working on getting the Fall tomatoes planted in the greenhouse, working on the house, or just being lazy. Ha. I want some goats.

lucky123= what are true heritage RIRs? Just curious. I don't know much about RIRs but I think my roosters are pretty. I didn't know
RIR had a few green feathers til I got these. I thought they were suppose to be solid red.

So sorry Ashley. I know how you must feel. 2years ago my neighbors dog got into the coop and ate my young guineas. I was so sad. He bought me new keets and I tried again. Keep your chin up and try again and secure all cracks and crannies.

Fixed The Hole The Same Day After I Found Them. I Had My Heart Set On Some Wyandottes But My Husband Is The Only One Who Works So When My Mom Comes Down Shes Going To Bring Me Some Of Her Babies.(NOT SURE WHAT BREED THEY ARE THOUGH) Thanks Everybody Its Been Hard But Talking About It On Here Really Helps.
