Alarm for brooder

Can anyone help me?Is there such a thing as a alarm to warn u of cold in a brooder? I was looking for something that would go in the coop and if it gets to cold in there I would have something in the house that would warn me.

Look for greenhouse thermometers, some of those have an alarm on them.

If you have a dependable wireless Internet connection, I"ve been pleased with the LaCrosse sensor warning system I installed in my orchid greenhouse - can set low and high temp values (and humidity, but expect that isn't needed for chicks) and when exceeded will send you a text and/or email. Can also check status online and download history of measurenents. Reasonable price and I've only had to replace battery once in two years. See website at weatherdirect.com
