ALASKA incubation tips please

OK!
PM me for directions, and I will be saving the best eggs.
We are getting about 2 dozen a day, so it should be pretty easy.
Just need to talk to DH and see how many he wants to have set.

Now I am not hearing the cheeping......

Sure hope they are ok.....

Give them some more time. It is so hard to wait isn't it.

well there is no cheeping, not just quiet for a few minutes, but now no movement, no cheeps.

What day is it? 22? I think you are okay, but I know it is nerve wracking! If they had enough energy to peep, they are probably just taking their time. One of my seramas came out on day 23 and they take 19, usually or so I am told. What were your temps?

I have hatched chicks here (Alaska) numerous times and we have had no problems. I think the key is to put the incubator in an area that has constant temperatures (not in the sunlight, drafty area, that sort of thing). We just have one of those small styrofoam incubators. Ihope this helps. Good Luck.
