Nope, I won't make it. We don't shut down til the 15th of September. And even if I had any chicks to enter don't know if i would... I don't trust other people's ... let's say... cleanliness?

Yeah, I know it's a risk, but I think it would still be fun - I want to show a "breeder pen" with a roo and two hens, and then maybe some others I have that are nice - will have to see how some of them turn out by then!

Greenfingers, Hi. I think I adopted your Cuckoo Maran roo. He is doing good. He has 3 notes to his cockle doodle do... he says " Err Err Errrrr". I got to new chickens Buffs. He is happy.

We're working on making an appearance.

Our fair down here is the 20-22nd of August, so it kind of makes for a long week. but we're going to try!

Hey AlaskaChick, I thought that was you. He has just started crowing since you got him, he had not started yet at my house. (Which is good 'cause of my neighbors!) I say Rebecca (?) at Animal Food Warehouse the other day, she said she had just gotten her Dellies and was very happy! You going to the Fair?

Yes I will definitely go to the fair as I always do yearly, however this year will be the first time that I go because of wanting to see the chicken exhibit. I usually go for the quilting exhibit as I am an avid quilter. Oh, by he way, we named the roo Gilbert... funny huh?

I'll be there with Silkies for sure. I'm debating on doing a breeding pen or individual entries. I've got one blue Orp hen I'm thinking about and possibly a few of my ducks.
I'll be entering baked goods again this year too. Didn't get any of my needle work or quilts finished. Maybe next year.
